I use a gentle, responsive, evidence-based and whole family approach that respects both your child’s needs and your family’s values. My method does not include “cry it out” or controlled crying. Every family has different values, comfort levels, and goals. The research tells us there is no single “right” method. What matters is that:
My role is to combine scientific knowledge with your family’s preferences, creating a plan that is both nurturing and effective.
I work with children aged 4 months to 5 years old.
No, as I can consult online, I am able to provide services wherever you are in the world! Email me directly to book, as we will need to figure out a time that works for us both.
I trained as an Advanced Sleep Consultant through the Institute of Sensitive Sleep. I also have a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Masters degree in Social Work. Furthermore, I have over 12 years experience working in childcare, with a significant amount of this working as a Nanny. I've also worked in childcare centres, as a children's ski instructor and as a Primary School Counsellor.
It’s best to wait until your child is feeling well before starting any sleep changes. When little ones are unwell, they often need extra comfort, contact, and flexibility - and that’s perfectly okay. Once they’ve fully recovered, we can begin gently working on their sleep.
Only if staying in is your preference! Your social life and wellbeing matter too. We’ll work together to fit naps and sleep into your ideal routine - whether that’s in the pram, the car, a sling, or even on a hike. I’m flexible and here to make it work for your family.
When you work with me, you can expect expert guidance, practical advice, reassurance, a listening ear and finding a bit of lightness and brightness. I don’t “fix” children, and I don’t make sleep guarantees - every child and family is unique. Success depends on many factors, including your child’s temperament and how supported you feel at home and within your community.
Full transparency: there is a small chance that sleep patterns may not change, especially for babies under six months. However, I’m confident that with my support, parents gain the tools, strategies, and confidence to optimise sleep, feel calm, and trust their parenting skills and judgment.
Due to the methods used, while some changes can happen quickly, most families see progress gradually over a couple of weeks. Gentle and respectful sleep coaching works best when parents approach it with patience and consistency.
Payment is required in full, prior to starting working together.
I understand that every family’s circumstances are different. To help make sleep support more accessible, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for families who may be experiencing financial hardship. If this applies to you, please reach out and we can chat further.
Yes. Everything you share with me - in your form, during our consult, and in follow-up communication - is kept completely confidential. Your personal information and your family’s details are never shared with anyone else.
